Rich,

Thanks for the invitation to the Yahoo Group - that's a great idea for setting up rides! I have an idea for a ride for this Thursday. We will drive to Canoe's house and set up our bikes in his garage on trainers. Luckily we will have Canoe's electric shoes to heat the place (can you get some fresh batteries, Larry?). Too bad you can't be there. If you email us a picture of you riding in Florida, shot from behind, we could put that up on a laptop or something and that would inspire us to output a few more watts.

Too bad you are stuck "at the office" in Fla. I DO feel sorry for you. Really, Rich ...YOU ... a "snowbird"?! ... and at YOUR age! Shameful.

Welp, have fun at Sebring and the Suncoast Rally. I am looking forward to the John Hoyt Ride in NH!

Today we had a nice Weds Wheelers ride with four bents among the 20 or so cyclists. Harry and I were there to represent Bacchetta, his Corsa and my Giro20, the ride leader rode a Bike Friday folder and his wife rode a Rans Stratus.
The route was a mix of urban and suburban ,from Newton to JamaicaPlain.
70 degrees in March in Boston is always good.

Giro 20 sighting.  Yellow.
May 22 2007
~9:30 am local

In front of 77 Mass Ave (MIT's dome), heading west through Cambridge MA.

Male pilot, undetermined age.

I, walking on the sidewalk,  yelled, "Go Bacchetta!".  No response, but I know that when people chirp at me, I don't always interpret what they say until much later.

Was it one of our NE Bentriders?

Yo, New England guys!

I need to be n North Reading on June 9-11 for work.

Any cool cycling events going on the weekend of the 7th-8th, or 14th-15th?
How about any weeknight stuff later, especially later in the week.
A crit or bandit race or even a rolling fast group ride would be fun.

Yo...JV!  Craig (AKA Chermle) recommended some good links to local clubs.   Some even go through your old hood Kingston.

I'm just back from a Grand Canyon backpacking adventure with the (long suffering) Mrs Pinto, but with you coming up I may have to into a crash 3 week training mode.  Looking foward to your draft, at least during the warmup

I'll see if I can dig up some more "rides" for those dates (would these be A or B races? ) keep in touch with your schedule.

I would be up for a "fast" group ride on some of those dates. Hey, I could even wear my homemade Bee Team "jersey". Can we stop for ice cream sundaes first to weigh your fast *sses down a bit?

Rich...sent in my info for group ride mailing list....

And, maybe sometime in the future we could plan a Bacchetta group ride on the Vineyard. We can comfortably accommodate 6 people in our home for a weekend, a few more with creativity and, of course, there are also hotels.

Have you done something spectacular in your lifetime? Now, is the time to do something really awesome!

Hey Pink Panther,
I live in Dennisport during the summer and weekends and Capecod Gary lives in Falmouth year round.
Today we did a nice 40 mile ride from Orleans.
If you are ever on the Mainland and want to ride, let me know.

OHHH...the Vineyard!  Sounds great to me.  Ann and I have'nt been there on our bikes in about 15 years.

I still have nightmares about going there almost 40 years ago on my high school girlfriends family yacht, and we rented some banana seat Stingrays.  After a couple hours riding the cobblestones I had a "delayed reaction" and had to down several of my girlfriends Midol!!  Have'nt been the same since

Remember though...I still owe you over that "accident" you, JS and Scott pulled on me!!  I have a LOOOOOONG memory...well, at least for revenge  ;<)

My emails to you have been rejected!
I'm back in town for a month or so.  then gone for a week...then back again...

Where are you hunkering down for Hanna?  Are you off the cape for the year yet?  Will you be driving out to the cape for the ride or are you still out there?

I'm back in Burlington for a couple of days, then it's back to the Cape for the CRW metric on Weds and then a Cape Cod Metric next sunday.
Try my e-mail again, Comcast was having problems.
