Shorts Recommendation

Looking for new shorts this year.

What are folks wearing these days?  Looking for mid-length to long-length without chamois.

Thanks for the help.

Can't we all just get along???

    All,

    Thanks for the input.

Here are links to sites in addition to the ones listed in the replies.

Ordered a pair of the Bendit Cycling Lycra shorts and a pair of their baggy shorts.  Lycra shorts have always been the choice, but walking through a work area in Lycra shorts to get to the locker room isn't the most comfortable thing.  Since speed on the work commute isn't the #1 item on the agenda, the baggy shorts may be a good alternative.

I have worn simple tri shorts and swimming jammers for many years. No need for the chamois or padding of conventional bike shorts. You can get jammers at a run and swim shop for $25-90 and they come in a wide range of colors and prints. Much more interesting that boring old black shorts.

Elevenpine Uprising shorts! I gave up tri shorts and recumbent specific shorts two years ago when I discovered these. Have never been more comfortable on rides up to 12 hours long. I use them with either PUMA Men's Tech Boxer Brief or adidas Men's Sport Performance Climalite Boxer Brief Underwear. All my other shorts have been in a drawer since I started wearing these. They are not cheap but there are frequent sales. Get on there email list to keep notified. https://www.elevenpine.com/
