2009 Giro ATT26

I am looking at a 2009 Giro ATT26.  Excellent to Good condition.  Need to know a fair price to offer.  Bicycle Blue Book says $400-$450.  He is asking $900

Not quite what I expected for a post on Bacchetta forum.  Thought at least I would get one reply.

This is not the place to beat down prices on B's. His asking price is less than half of new and in my opinion worth more than he is asking. If you need a large ATT, I have one that I will be selling. I'm asking $1,000.

I am NOT trying to "beat down prices on B's".  I have never dealt with recumbent "bikes".  There is no dealers anywhere near me to talk to so I was just trying to get some information to help me offer him a "fair" price.  Sorry if you thought that was my objective.

Sorry, didn't mean to offend. $900 is a fair price. The shipping will cost him around $100.

That's okay.  I just felt hurt.

No shipping.  I would pick up.  Have to travel 100 miles each way.

I wouldn’t pay $900 for a 10 year old Giro, especially given the luke warm market for two wheel bents. Offer $600 cash and maybe compromise around $700 max if you love it and it’s in great condition.

Thanks for the reply.  What you have suggested is pretty much along the lines I was thinking.  I would like to try a two wheel bent, but also have to consider the possibility that if it didn't work out, I would have to try to re-sell it.

I appreciate your input.

Still trying to figure how this Forum actually works.  I have just purchased a 2018 Giro 20.  I live near Sebring, FL and would really like to talk to someone that might be able to help me set it up the way it should be done.  I have looked at the manual but it all is pretty general.  I have the seat adjustment down but would like some help in getting the bars adjusted at least for a proper basic position.  From there, I can work on fine tuning the adjustment.

If by chance there is someone out there that lives near Sebring, I would like to meet you.  It is approx. 100 miles to either the factory in St. Pete or any dealer that could help.

Thanks.

Toward the bottom of this link is a set up guide with pictures. That should help considerably.  Otherwise, call Bacchetta, they've always been helpful.
