New BE3 Seat on my CA3.0 Mini Build

I recently installed the new BE3 seat on my Mini CA3.0 to finish off this build for casual riding. I must say, I really like the comfort of this new seat. A real improvement to the Recurve seat. No more hitting my hamstrings against the seat edge. The cushion works well for me. Not too soft, not too firm. I ended up at about 37 degrees recline even though it felt more laid back than that. Coming from a 17 degree Carbon shell seat, I really like this more upright angle for casual riding. Combining the carbon fiber frame with wider tires and the new BE3, this little bent is quite the comfort ride even with the smaller wheel.

Nice job. Where did you measure the seat to get the angle ? The lumbar support makes it difficult to find a straight edge.

Canoe- I just hold a metal yardstick against the back edge of the seat back and hold the angle finder against thes straight edge. It’s all relative since it’s the only way to read an angle .

Ray, your Mini is now complete and, IMHO, looks great. Glad to hear you're happy with the BE-3 seat. I have one of our aluminum bikes set up just like yours and it's pretty much my go to ride these days, except for the occasional fast ride, when I need all the help I can get.
