Nagging injuries are not fun. It’s just hard to stay off the bike. I rode about 600 miles while away in Florida and I can feel it. Now that I’m home, I alternate between Mtbing and the recumbent. I think mixing it up prevents overuse injuries. YMMV.

Looking at last year's and this year's stats ... I'm down by half in miles and feet climbed.

It is, unfortunately, what it is.

But I gotta tell ya: riding flat terrain in the low gears is bordering on self-abuse.
