I've been doing Wahoo Kickr and TrainerRoad for over three years now and really like it. Two years ago I used this to train for Calvin's Challenge. The 16 week program I was on pushed me far harder than I ever could have done on my own. I only did three 40-60 mile rides outside before doing the 12 hour race at Calvin's. My longest indoor ride was 3 hours 45 minutes. I was a little worried about the lack of longer rides but TrainerRoad did the trick and I got my first double century at Calvin's. Very happy with the Kickr and TrainerRoad. Not to mention the most awesome bike ever, my Carbon Aero 2!

Wow.  Don.  This might be a real answer for me.  I have a direct drive Lemond Revolution.  Bought it six years ago and it is great but it doesn't have a power meter or speed sensor ... even though they said they would.  (After about three years they simply gave up and sold themselves to somebody else ... and the power meter/speed sensor functions never materialized).  But TrainerRoad states that their `virtualpower' function works with my Lemond Revolution.  A BIG advantage.

Thanks very much for your reply.
