Thorseats

Has anyone tried thorseats? I stumbled on them and the prices are very reasonable. While the site does not list prices other people are indicating 85 for fiberglass and 185 carbon. http://www.thorseat.eu/en...osite-recumbent-seats/ How hard is it to drill and mount a seat on a corsa with Euromesh currently given average skills and plenty of tools? I am very tall and at that price may try their xxl.

I have a fiberglass thor on an xstream26. Very nice. Pretty easy to mount. I used POC fiberglass seats on my Strada and Corsa, pretty much as easy to mount. You will have to make angle mounts for the rear seat struts. A couple of pieces of 1" alum angle from the hardware store will take care of that. You can get nylon and rubber washers at the store too. Nylon on the seat side, rubber between the seat and mount. Use 3/16" (#10) stainless bolts and elastic stop nuts to prevent rust and vibration unscrewing them.
Add $35 for shipping to those prices which are current.

I just ordered a glass seat for a Corsa SS frame/fork that I'm building up.  I'll let you know how it works out.
