Bacchetta Big Euro 3 Seat- Feedback Wanted!

I put a little write up, pics and a video on our Facebook page. If you folks get a chance, read through the article, check out the pics and video and let us know what you think. We believe this seat will benefit a lot of people who want a larger seat like the Recurve but without all the weight, but in order to get this going sooner rather than later, we're going to need some help. And yes, this seat is designed to work on ALL Bacchetta models.

Mark- this is perfect. Comfort of the recurve at a lighter weight. I've always thought that the Euro seat was in no mans land. Riders that want recline usually want light weight, therefore, Carbon shell, and riders that want a close position, want maximum comfort. I've never heard any rider say that they want their bent to be heavier.

I just gave away two Euro seats because they don't fit my go fast requirements on my Aero or Corsa or my casual, comfort requirements on my Giro or Bella. Sign me up, I'll start with one and if I like it, I'll buy a second one.

Having been one of the first to put a recurve on my Ti Aero, I think I'm your perfect road tester. I don't ride too upright or too laid back. Send one my way for an honest assessment. A Schlitz will be waiting.

If this seat works out, will it replace the Recurve, since it will fit all model bents?

Kickstarter or some other crowdfunding adventure could work. I am not in the market for a new seat but I'd likely support the project for Bacchetta branded swag. I will be watching for your announcement. Good fortune.

Any word on the kickstarter project for the BE 3 seat.  I am interested in one for my Corsa.

BE-3 update. We’ve had a couple of long time Bacchetta riders (BentCyclist and TheCanoe) doing some real world test riding on the BE-3 and so far the feedback has been very positive. Those seats are on their way back to Bacchetta World Headquarters but they will be going right back the door for more testing. This time a couple of “Clydesdale's” will taking on the task and that should give us an even better idea if we have it right. We’ll keep you posted. Thanks again to Ray and Larry for all their help!

Really enjoyed the testing time on the new BE-3. Lighter weight, comfortable and less leg interference versus the Recurve.

A comparison I updated that might be helpful to potential customers.

Ray, That's a great comparison picture of all three seats.
My feedback is that Bacchetta hit a home run with this seat. I got in a half dozen rides and played around with seat recline. I don't ride as reclined as Ray and the seat was as comfortable as recurve I'm using now. I have it mounted on a Ti Aero. The new seat attaches without modification. The pad is shaped like the Euromesh so that there is less interference at the thighs. This allows the seat to be reclined more than the recurve. Both Ray and I thought this would be a good replacement for the recurve. I think Mark was planning a replacement for the Euromesh. I think it can be a replacement for both.
Let's see what the big guys think.
